Peoplesoft Technical Designer for Supply Chain Management

Job Description:
PeopleSoft Designer working on a PeopleSoft Implementations for Supply Chain Management. Work with the business system analyst to review and approve requirements. This role will be providing direction and oversight as system requirements are correctly translated into system architecture, high level and detailed level design for supply chain systems. This Position will be expected to provide direction and oversight during the construction and testing phases to ensure design components meet business and system and performance requirements while ensuring maintainability, supportability, and reusability of system components. Responsibilities include designing and implementing technical design specifications, ensuring design components align to defined standards, and providing task input and level of effort estimates to project schedules.

Projects – Desktop Management Project and PeopleSoft 8.8 Upgrade. Design of Desktop Management starts mid June.

Required:
a.. Experience in PeopleSoft procurement, Procurement, Asset management, and Inventory design under 8.x
b.. 3+ years experience in task planning and effort estimation
c.. Upgrade experience from 8.x to 8.8 of P/S
d.. Experience with P/S self service and workflow
e.. Experience with Peopletools version 8.x
f.. Experience in writing detailed technical designs.
g.. Extensive Knowledge of supply chain concepts.
h.. Knowledge of SQL and Oracle.

Preferred:
a.. Experience in integration of P/S with external applications.
b.. Experience in technologies such as XML, App Messaging, App Engine, People Code.
c.. Experience with settlements, Services Procurement, and/or supplier portal
